Product information

A rope light is the outlining tool of festive decorating: it traces a shape rather than filling a space. This one is a single unbroken 5 metre run of multicolour LEDs with the plug already fitted, so there are no joints to wire up before it goes on.

Copper wire inside a soft, flexible tube lets it curve along a balcony railing, round a door frame or a window, or up and over a mandir arch. The covered tube keeps out dust and light splashes, so terraces and gates are fair game as well as indoor cove edges.

Switching is by push button, and the energy-efficient LEDs stay cool to the touch once the rope is uncoiled, which is worth knowing on a long Diwali evening.
